Isabella

Ogden/Oasis

Isabella, full of sugar and spice, joined our group during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. What better way to shelter in place than with a new puppy? She joined Heidi & Dallas as their 16th puppy for Guide Dogs, but it was soon determined that she had a malformed kidney and a major infection in her ureter. She had surgery at 12 weeks of age, was nursed back to health, and was adopted by dear friends of her raisers.

Barclay

Levi/Topeka

Barclay arrived on the May 2019 Puppy Truck to be raised by first-time raisers Becci & Nick. He was career changed for medical reasons in April 2020 and was adopted by the parents of long-time puppy raiser Melissa.

Albus

Jolt/Sitka

Albus, of Harry Potter fame, was co-raised by Heidi & Dallas & by Brian & Annalise. This darling boy was career changed at the age of 10 months for obsessive behaviors. Behaviors that don't necessarily make a good guide dog are essential for other careers, so Albus headed to the San Rafael campus to be evaluated for Search & Rescue.

Ed

Levi/Beasley

Mr. Ed is the only pup of Mrs. Beasley, who was raised by Katherine & Rick, so he is a grandpuppy of sorts! Beasley also fostered 2 pups from Reese's litter so Ed wouldn't be lonely and Beasley would have a good first-time mother experience. Ed is full of personality! Transferred to Enumclaw Puppy Raisers at 12 months of age to complete his training. Career changed in February 2020 and adopted by long-time group members Cliff & Laura, who are thrilled to have him join their family!

Panache

Lemur/Desma

Panache, a name synonymous with confidence, self-assurance, style, & flair, fits this little Guide-Dog-to-be perfectly. She was raised by Robin & Howard as their 15th puppy for Guide Dogs for the Blind. In Nov 2019 she went to campus for Breeder Evaluation, then formal harness training. Panache was one of the Shelter-In-Place dogs that was evacuated from campus during the Covid pandemic. She was dropped for fear of traffic after she returned to campus a second time. She was placed as a loving pet by GDB.

Galley

Zenith/Peony

Galley-Girl arrived at the Microsoft Campus when they sponsored the puppy truck in October 2018. Experienced raisers Kim & Gary both work at Microsoft and Galley attended work there often. Career changed for fear of buses and trucks in December 2019 and adopted by her raisers.

Pasta

Lantern/Eliza

This little Noodle arrived just after Christmas 2018 as a 5 month old transfer from the Portland area. Pasta is mostly Golden Retriever, with a splash of Lab. He was raised by Calley as her first Guide Dog pup and went to work with her at Amazon. Returned for formal training Nov 2019 and dropped for excitable greeting behavior in March 2020 and was picked up by Freedom Service Dogs and is now a therapy dog working with a social worker on a college campus in Denver to assist students with disabilities.

Kingsley

Canuck/Venetia

A fluffy Golden pup for Melissa & Jeremy to raise arrived via puppy truck in June 2018. Kingsley! This is Melissa's 9th pup for GDB. This regal guy returned for formal harness training August 2019. Dropped for dog distraction in November 2019 and is now a PTSD dog with Next Step Service Dogs.

Hercules

Dapper/Honu

Hercules is one of the best known heroes in Greek and Roman mythology. He arrived via the November 2017 Puppy Truck delivery and was raised by first time raisers Denise & Sean until he transferred to the Sequim Puppy Pilots group at 8 months of age. Career changed at 14 months old for dog distraction, vocalizing, and fears and adopted by his first raisers, Sean & Denise, who are thrilled to add him to their family.

Calista

Dart/Madge

In ancient mythology, Calista was a nymph loved by Zeus, whose jealous wife Hera turned her into a bear. This little bear joined our group in Nov 2017 and was raised by Mary Lou for the first 3 months, experienced puppy sitter turned raiser.Transferred to the Portland area in January 2017 at 5 mo. of age. Career changed in Dec. 2018 for fearful behavior around traffic and adopted by a friend of her Portland raiser.

Widget

York/Addie

Wikipedia explains that a widget enables a user to perform a function or access a service--sounds like a guide dog to us! Widget was raised by Derval, Tom, Hugh, Jack, Alibhe, Fiona as their 3rd pup for GDB. He arrived via the Tacoma Subaru puppy truck delivery in Oct. 2017. Transferred to the Snohomish Puppy Guides group in May 2018 at 9 months of age and quickly career changed. She will make a wonderful pet for some lucky family and will be placed by GDB.

Reggie

Nevin/Uzette

Reggie spent the first few weeks with raiser Abby and then transferred to Ursula & Laurie as the second pup for Guide Dogs for the Blind. He transferred again in January 2018 at 5 months of age to Colorado when his raisers adopted their previous pup, Wombie. Reggie was career changed for barking and rambunctiousness in Oct 2018. He was placed as a happy-go-lucky pet by GDB with a family on Vashon Island.

Ricki

Ricki arrived as a transfer pup from the Bellingham area at the age of 12 months to be finished by experienced raisers Samantha & Karen. Sweet Ricki hopped on the January 2019 Puppy Truck and went to college. Career changed for inappropriately vocalizing at other dogs while in harness and placed as a pet by GDB.

Spencer

Kepler/Sherpa

Happy-go-lucky Spencer arrived in August 2017 and was raised by Samantha and her mom Karen as their 4th pup for GDB. Spencer went off for formal Guide Dog harness training in Oct 2018 and was dropped in Phase 7 for being unable to stop talking to his doggie friends. He will be placed by GDB as a wonderful pet.

Lima

Saddle/Gala

Lima (Peru, not bean!) joined our group to be raised by Anna and family as their 5th puppy for Guide Dogs for the Blind. She arrived in August 2017. Lima was transferred to a raiser in the Enumclaw group for the last couple of months and went off to Guide Dog college in Oct 2018. She was career changed for body sensitivity and adopted by the previous leader of Enumclaw Puppy Raisers.

Verdot

Taurus/Kanga

Petit Verdot is said to have lots of character! This Verdot arrived in May 2017 and will be raised by Jeremy and Melissa as their first pup with our group. Melissa raised 7 puppies for GDB with FHA when she was a teenager, so they are not lacking in experience! Verdot returned for formal training in June 2018. He made it all of the way through formal harness training before being dropped for happily vocalizing at passing dogs while he was working. He has been adopted and will serve as a Therapy Dog in a Seattle area school.

Kata

Curt/Peony

Kata joined our group at 11 months old as a transfer from the Portland area to be raised by experienced transfer pros Brenda and Frank. She began formal guide dog training in May 2018, but was dropped for relieving on walks and being extra scent-distracted. She was placed as a sweetheart of a pet by the GDB Dog Placement Dept.

Kappa

Sandler/Nellie

6 month old Kappa joined our group for a short time as a transfer puppy from Kitsap Navigators, to be raised by Brenda & Frank. She wasn't quite ready for busy downtown Seattle, so she headed off in July 2017 to Vashon Island for the rest of her puppyhood.

Pearl

Pearl, 3/4 Golden, 1/4 Labrador and fluffy as they come, joined our group to be raised by Anna, Sprague, Lucien, and Graham. Career changed at 5 1/2 months for fear and barking and placed as a pet by GDB.

Mick

Neutron/Tarragon

Golden Mick was lucky #13 Guide Dog pup for Heidi & Dallas! He was transferred at 14 months of age to the WSU puppy raising group. He returned to the Oregon GDB campus on 3/30/18 to begin formal harness training at the age of 17 months. During his Vet exam on campus, it was discovered that Mick had cysts in the iris of his eye and he was career changed for health reasons. He has been adopted by a couple in Portland who have young grandchildren who visit often. Mick is going to go through further training to become a Therapy Dog at Good Samaritan's Rehabilitation Center.

Danika

Danika joined our group as a transfer from the Portland area. Brenda and Frank worked with her to help her overcome her dog distraction issues but she ended up being career changed in November 2016. The raisers placed her with family friends on Bainbridge Island and she now has 2 children and acreage to keep her busy!

Nasani

Phoenix/Yardley

Nasani, co-raised by Robin & Howard and Lisa & Doug, arrived in Sept. 2016. She is a sweet girl with an even temperament and her name means 'hard worker', perfect for a guide dog pup-in-training. She returned for formal training Sept 2017. After successfully completing formal guide dog training and while waiting for a match, Nasani experienced a couple of health issues and spent some time in foster care. She began balking and was career changed in June 2018. She has been adopted by the owners of Rooftop Brewery in Seattle and is a pub dog.

Goliath

York/Zulu

Goliath! This little guy with big paws and a giant heart arrived on Fun Day at the Oregon Campus. He was raised by Samantha as her 3rd puppy for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Returned for formal Guide Dog training August 2017, and dropped in December 2017 in advanced training for body sensitivity and playing keep away. He was adopted by family friends of the raisers.

Norby

Gonzalo/Patrina

Norby joined our group at the age of 4 months from the Kent/Auburn puppy raising group. He was raised by Mary, and her parents Todd & Jeannie. Norby started his formal harness training in June 2017 and was career changed in October for poor house behavior after completing his entire Guide Dog training. He has been adopted by his raising family and is a very happy pet!

Fennec

Amici/Tenley

Foxy little Fennec with the big ears is as smart as his namesake was raised by Abby and Arnold and went to work in a law firm. Fennec is 3/4 Golden, 1/4 Labrador. He started his formal guide dog training at the Boring, OR campus in May 2016. Career changed in Phase 4 for dog distraction and adopted by his raisers in June 2016.

Claudette

Claudette was transferred to our group from Snohomish at 10 months of age to finish growing and learning. She joined Brenda and Frank to get experience with downtown Seattle and busier environs. Dropped from formal training for dog distraction in April 2017 and will be placed by Guide Dogs as a loving pet.

Alistair

This fine English chap joined a fine Irish family and was raised by Derval, Tom, Hugh, Jack, Fiona, and Ailbhe as their first GDB puppy. He was career changed in February 2016 at 15 months of age for alert barking. He will be placed as a lovely pet by Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Medford/Keepsake

Soft and sweet Golden/Lab Cross North joined our group as a transfer from Vashon Island at the age of 5 months, to be raised by Mary, Marc, Brenna, Tatum, and Max. Career changed at 9 months old and adopted by her Vashon raising family.

Kahuna

Better known as the Big Kahuna, this little guy was twice the size of his brother Kirk! He was raised by Thea, Eric, Zavdi, Chagall, and Zsa Zsa as thier first pup for GDB. Kahuna was ransferred to the Spokane puppy raising group in June 2016 and arrived on campus for formal training in Dec. 2016. Career changed for poor house manners in February 2017 and will be placed as a happy-go-lucky pet by GDB.

Jim was a transfer pup from the Kitsap group. He joined GPS at 8 months of age to be co-raised by T-Bone & Angie, and Ruth & Ron. Such a handsome boy! Career changed at 11 months for lack of interest in becoming a guide dog and adopted by Ruth & Ron.

Desiree

Teeny tiny Desiree arived on the August 2015 puppy truck, just shy of 8 weeks old, to be raised by Anna, Lucien & Graham as their second pup for GDB. Entered formal training in Sept 2016. Career changed for dog distraction and 'scavenging' and adopted by friends of her raisers.

Gizmo

Gizmo was raised by Patty and Brian M. who joined GPS after a break from raising 4 pups with the Auburn and Tacoma groups. Giz was transferred to the Bellevue group for the last few months before he headed off to college. Recalled for formal training in Sept. 2016. Giz suffered a pulled muscle which reoccured durring training. He was career changed in February 2017 and adopted by his raising family.

Fabio

With these good looks, he could be an Italian fashion model, but without the golden locks ;). Fabio arrived on the May Puppy Truck and was raised by Heidi & Dallas, and by Holly, Lee, Emmy, & Reese. He returned to the Oregon GDB campus in July 2016 for formal guide dog training. Half way through his training he experienced a soft tissue injury, which led to 3 months of rest, and resulted in him being overly body sensitive. Career changed and adopted by Holly, Lee, and the girls as a loving pet.

Beautiful Fiore, or 'flower' in Italian, was raised by Song Mei and family as their first puppy for Guide Dogs for the Blind until she was almost 6 months old. Siblings Fiore, Fennec, and Flare are Golden/Lab Double Crosses .Transferred to a different puppy group at 5 1/2 months of age. Career changed for fears.

Jessup

This liberal guy was well socialized as a member of the Democratic Party with raiser Lisa, who has raised 3 previous pups for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Although he went off to college in December 2015, he was career changed for inappropriate relieving in Phase 8 and was adopted by his raisers, who were thrilled to add him to their family!

Wonka

Mr. W. Wonka was raised by Jessica and was educated along with her kindergarten class. Oh, the kids loved Wonka! Jessica also got her doctorate in education while she raised Wonka--thanks to lots of help from some fantastic puppy sitters! Career changed in Phase 8 for dog distraction and will still attend school with Jessica as a Pet Partners Therapy Dog!

Winston was raised by family of 4 Sharon, Scott, Sophia, and Cosette as their first Guide Dog puppy, with help from family of 5 Mary, Marc, Brenna, Tatum, & Max. "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give" ~Winston Churchill. Career changed for fears, Winston's goal is to become a Therapy Dog.

Bronco, a Lab-Golden Double Cross, was raised in a downtown condo with raisers Nathaniel and Rachel, commuted to work at Amazon. What could be more 'Seattle' than that? Career changed because he simply didn't want to be a guide dog :) and placed with raiser's brother in Pennsylvania.

Kanojo no na wa Tobiko! Her name is Tobiko...joined the O'Brien family to be raised as their 3rd puppy for Guide Dogs. Career changed July 2015 for liver disease in Phase 7 of Guide Dog college and adopted by her raisers. Tobiko will be on medication but is acting like her old self.

Atari is part of the WSU Vet School program and was raised by Marilyn & Tom in our group until he was 6 months old, then was transfered to a student of Veterinary Medicine who finished raising him. Career changed for less than desirable house behavior and placed by GDB as a loving pet.

Craig arrived by Puppy Truck in Oct. 2013 to be raised by experience raiser Geoff. Craig returned to campus for Breeder Evaluation in Oct. 2014.Career changed and placed as a Therapy Dog and Ambassador at Ronald McDonald House in Lubbock TX.

Transferred from the Spokane group at 7 months of age, Ivan spent the rest of his puppyhood with GPS raisers, Brenda and Frank. Career changed for dog distraction and adopted by Brenda's brother in the Seattle area.

Beautiful Golden Chelsea transferred to our group from Bellingham at 5 months of age and was raised by Robin and Howard. Chelsea developed polyarthritis at the age of 14 months and after treatment is doing much better. Career Changed for health reasons and was placed by GDB with a loving family in California.

Trixie was born to pursue higher education and went to work with her raiser, Erin, at the University of Washington. She was recalled for formal guide dog training in October, 2014. Career changed in Phase 5 for dog distraction and adopted by her raiser's family.

Wander was raised by Dana, Dave, Zoe, and Ian as their second GDB pup.Career Changed for body sensitivity & dog distraction Nov 2013--now living in Happy Valley, OR as a pet in a family with 2 small children. She will go to work at the wine warehouse that her new dad owns.

Hector Protector was dressed all in green', as the nursery rhyme reads. He is the 4th pup Renee raised for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Career changed for lack of interest in being a Guide Dog :) and adopted by his raiser.

Prima Donna Prima joined the Seattle puppy raising group to be raised by experience raiser Joseph as his 3rd pup for Guide Dogs. Career Changed for inappropriate relieving and placed with a family of 4 on Mercer Island as a fabulous pet.

First-time raisers Dana, Dave, Zoe, and Ian welcomed little Mattie. This is the second 'Mattie' that has been in our group. Career Changed and placed by Guide Dogs with a couple who will train her as a Therapy Dog to work with hearing impaired individuals.

Corona was another little blondie for Tom and Marilyn--she was puppy number 14! Career changed for environmental sensitivity in October 2012 and was placed by Guide Dogs for the Blind as a loving pet.

Sheraton arrived Sept 2011 to be raised by group leaders Heidi and Dallas as their 10th pup.Career changed for drooling at 9 mo. old and welcomed back home as Willy's little brother! Sheraton is now a Therapy Dog that volunteers at Childhaven with the 3-5 year olds.

Known as the Viceroy of Phinney Ridge, this little guy joined experienced raisers Sean, Emily, Eric, and Ryan. Viceroy and Valeria are siblings.Career changed for temperament issues that make him more suited to be a loving pet and placed with friends of the raisers in Seattle.

Kenya was presented to her raiser at the Oregon Fun Day at the Guide Dog Campus. Kenya is one smart girl--she attended the University of Washington with experienced raiser, Erin. Kenya has a new career as an avalanche Search & Rescue Dog at Steven's Pass in Washington.

Ahoy, Captain! Get those sea legs under you and be prepared for learning the ropes with first time raisers Brian, Patti, Annalise, and Kyle. Captain and Chantal are siblings, but it sounds a bit like a singing group.Career changed for sensitivity to fireworks set off in his neighborhood and placed by GDB.

What do you get when you cross a Golden/Lab Cross with a Golden? And the answer is..... a Double Cross! Keeley came off of the July Puppy Truck along with a bounce and a sense of humor to be raised by Robin and Howard. Dropped in formal training for body sensitivity to the harness and fear of loud noises.

10 month old Cadence moved from the Auburn group to Seattle to be raised by experienced puppy raisers, Brenda and Frank.Career changed for house behavior and avoidance of jacket and crate and sent to GDB to be adopted.

Returned to campus Feb 2012 and experienced Pano symptoms (growing pains). Dropped in the final training phase for relieving issues in Aug 2012.

Mel arrived on a very rainy December day to be raised by Jan as her second GDB puppy. 'Mel' is a pure clarified form of honey. He battled Giardia as a puppy and at 11 mo. old was diagnosed with Parvo. He is now a beautiful, healthy adult. Career changed for 'wet mouth'. Mel was adopted by his raiser and registered asa TDI Therapy Dog.

Mitzvah

roughly translated, means ""good deed"". He was raised by group leaders Heidi and Dallas as their 9th puppy.Mitz was career changed at 5 months of age for severe motion sickness. He was adopted by former puppy raisers in California and will spend his days helping out on their 40 acre ranch.

Elmer joined our group from Sacramento when his family moved to Seattle in June 2011. We are thrilled to have them as part of our group! Elmer was career changed for fear and balking around buses and doorways and has been adopted by the raiser's brother in California.

This pretty girl moved to Seattle from the Bellingham puppy raising group when she was 13 months old to get some city experience with experienced raiser Lisa. Career changed for dog distraction and adopted by her raiser. Isha is a Therapy Dog with TDI.

8-month-old Simba and his raisers, Kim and Gary, transferred to our group from Compass Canines in March 2011. Simba was transferred to the Auburn group for a few months before being career changed for barking. He has been adopted by Kim and Gary, who are thrilled to welcome him back!

7 mo. old Madeline was transfered to our group from Oregon. Sue raised several puppies with Guide Dogs before becoming involved in Search and Rescue with her Career Changed dog, Luau. Career changed for body sensitivity and will be placed in a loving home by Guide Dogs.

This little guy was presented to first-time raiser, Jessica, on stage at Guide Dog graduation, June 19, 2010. He was a big help with the kids in Jessica's kindergarten class.Career changed for confidence issues. Zenith was adopted by his raiser, registered as a Therapy Dog and continues his work with the kids.

Helene and her sister Hedda were chosen by GDB to be part of a study on minimizing body sensitivity. They wore hair scrunchies on bodies while playing--silly but effective! Helene was raised by first-time raiser, Korie, and puppy sat regularly by Haley. Career changed for an eye problem and adopted by her raiser.

With a name fit for a 'First Kid', Sasha seemed ready to lead. She arrived on the March 2010 puppy truck to be raised by experienced raisers Robin & Howard. Career changed for resisting handling and now lives as a free spirited pet on Chuckanut Bay on the Washington coast.

Oh, another 'O' puppy! Ona's sister Odessa joined our group in November 2010 at 11 months of age as a transfer puppy to be raised by Brenda, Frank & Jenny.Career changed at 14 mo. for confidence issues. Adopted by her first raisers and pictured here playing with new sister, Pip!

Mattie arrived on the first Puppy Truck of 2010, to be raised by Marilyn and Tom. Mattie is sort of a 'grandchild' since her mom, Sunset, was raised by this family too! Career changed for vocalizing/barking at other dogs and adopted by the daugher of a raiser in Guide Puppies of Seattle.

Dominic's raisers, Joseph and Michael, transfered to our puppy raising group from Paws for a Cause in Bellingham when Dominic was 8 months old. Dominic returned for formal training in February 2011. Career changed in Phase 8 for fear on public transportation. Adopted by the Rand family, who co-raised Fergie.

Fina festively arrived on the Christmas Puppy Truck, Dec. 2009, to be raised by first time raisers, Rose and High. Career changed at 8 mo. old after contracting meningitis. Fina was adopted by her raising family and is feeling much better!

Magoo aka Maguire

In fond memory: Magoo was lovingly raised as Judy's 11th pup for Guide Dogs. He was joyful, smart, successful, and sometimes a bit of a goof-ball. Magoo returned to campus for formal training in Oct. 2010 and his name was changed to Maguire. He died suddenly on January 24th, 2011, at the age of 18 mo., days away from starting in-home training with his new partner.

Under the guise of a road trip and tour of the San Rafael campus, Howard surprised Robin with new puppy, Estella. Estella joined our group on March 14, 2009. Returned to campus, March 2010. Career changed, April 2010 for body sensitivity & fear and adopted by the raising family. She is now a registered Therapy Dog.

Fantine

Fantine arrived with fanfare and hoopla via Alaska Airlines on the 30th of January, 2009. She was raised by Renee as her second puppy for Guide Dogs for the Blind.Fantine was career changed in Phase 10 of Guide Dog 'college' because of an allergic reaction. She was placed as a pet by Guide Dogs.

Able Amos braved snowstorms and floods to get to Seattle to be raised by experienced raisers Ruth and Ron. Career changed February 2010 and adopted by a Seattle family with 2 active boys.

What do you call a puppy that is as cute as a picture? Art! This fine young pup was raised by Kandice, Ryan, Luka, Ezra, and Milo as their second pup for Guide Dogs for the Blind.Career changed for dog distraction, April 2010 and adopted by the raising family.

Faraja

Faraja is a Swahili word meaning 'comfort' and 'leader'. Faraja was raised by experienced raiser, Judy, as her 10th guide dog pup. Faraja was career changed and has found his ""forever home"" as a pet in Seattle with 2 adults and 2 children to love and care for.

Golden Gideon arrived 8/14/08 to be raised by Heidi and Dallas as their 7th puppy. He and sister Ginger were donated to Guide Dogs by a breeder in Sequim. Career Changed for fear and distraction in Oct. 2009 and placed by Guide Dogs as a family pet in Menlo Park, California.

Clifford the Little Yellow Dog arrived on the Puppy Truck on June 13, 2008. He was raised by Hilary as her second Guide Dog puppy. He attended Blanchet High School with his raiser. Career Changed in Aug '09 and adopted by Hilary's aunt.

Doesn't everyone have a beloved Aunt Vera? She may have an old-fashioned name but she is a girl with big dreams for the future. Vera was raised by experienced raisers Mary Ann and Dave as their 4th puppy. Evaluated for breeding potential in July '09 and career changed for elbow dysplasia

Leonard

Dan and Naomi raised Leonard as their first Guide Dog puppy. Arrived 5/16/08 and returned for formal training 5/14/09 and was on Breeder Watch. Career changed for cataracts in both eyes and returned to his raisers as a pet.

Hastings

Hastings was raised by experienced raisers Betsy and Peter as their 6th puppy for Guide Dogs for the Blind.Betsy and Peter moved to Bishop, CA in January 2009 and took Hastings with them. We miss all three of you! Hastings was career changed in April '09 and adopted by a family in Bishop.

Pokey little Curio with the ""unusual"" name--just as her family requested. She was raised by Lisa, Ross, & Rory as the first puppy they have raised for GDB. Career changed at 5 mo. of age for torn cruciate ligaments in both knees. GDB fixed them surgically and found her the perfect home after her recovery.

Shep was transfered to our group in Sept. 2008 at 8 months of age to be raised by Maayan. This sweet boy attended highschool with her at Lakeside. Returned for formal training Aug. '09. Career Changed in Phase 10 for inappropriate relieving in harness and adopted by his raising family.

Donner

Donner started his Guide Dog training with Andy in Kitsap County, and then was transferred to Renee on February 19th to be raised as her first puppy. In memory of Donner--a spunky, loving, smart, and happy 'red' Labrador--Nov 18, 2007 to Dec 14, 2008

Dayton was Judy's 9th pup. He loved being cuddled and loved children. Dayton was career changed for body sensitivity and is now living as a pet in Oregon.

Draper was transferred to Ruth and Ron, who finished raising him and sent him off to 'college' in January 2009. Career changed March '09.

Transfered from the Vashon Island group, sweet, soft Lotus stayed with Robin and Howard for a few months. Career changed for confidence issues and adopted by her first raiser on Vashon.

Cute as a bug's ear, sweet and spicy Hoya was presented to Erika and Neil on Fun Day at the Boring Oregon Guide Dog Campus on August 11th. Career changed for chronic bronchitis and fear issues, and adopted by her raiser.

Beckley was loved and raised by first time raisers Ryan, Kandice, Luka, Ezra, and Milo.He was career changed for odor sensitivity in Nov. 2008 and was adopted by his raising family. Picutured here with Ezra!

Little Willy Willy won't go home but you can't push Willy 'cause Willy won't go! He arrived via air and was raised by group leaders, Heidi and Dallas.Career changed for confidence issues in Sept. '08. Adopted by Heidi & Dallas and registered as a Therapy Dog. Willy and Heidi volunteer weekly at Childhaven.

A true Marilyn Monroe look-alike (and we are sure her middle name is Jean), Norma joined big sister and career changed dog Tinella to be raised by Cliff and Katie as their 4th Guide Dog Puppy. Returned 8/5/08 for advanced training. Career Changed in Phase 8 for inappropriate relieving and adopted by her raisers.

Check out this little dish! Raised by Mary Ann and family as their 3rd Guide Dog puppy. Returned for formal training 6/13/08. Career changed for elbow OCD and adopted by her raising family after undergoing surgery. Her new career is as a Therapy Dog, going to work with Mary Ann--a school nurse.

Baby Bernie came bouncing into our lives August 11th, 2006. He was raised by group leaders Heidi and Dallas as their 5th Guide Dog puppy. He returned for formal training on August 2007. Career changed for elbow dysplasia and had surgery on both elbows. He is now enjoying life as a pet in Portland, Oregon.

Garth joined the Gordon clan to be raised as their first Guide Dog puppy. Career changed for relieving issues and placed by Guide Dogs in a loving home.

December is a March puppy who arrived in May. She was initially raised by Claire and Donna, then transferred at 6 months of age to Ruth and Ron. Returned for formal training in Oregon in September '07. Career changed for IBS

Little Lissa happily joined career-changed big sister Tinella to be raised by Cliff & Katie. Lissa was their fourth Guide Dog puppy. She returned to advanced training and breeder evaluation on 5/19/07. Career changed for IBS and adopted by her raising family.

Transferred to the Anderson family at 5 months of age, Brink is handsome, sweet and obliging. Returned for formal training on 6/14/07. Career changed for allergies and is now living with the Anderson family as their beloved pet.

Montoya is just as zippy as Juan Pablo Montoya--the famous race car driver. He started out with Karis, Marge, and Chris as their first Guide Dog puppy. Transferred to another raiser and career changed after returning to Boring for advanced training.
