Sal flew into the lives of long-time puppy raisers Melissa and Jeremy via Alaska Air in May 2023. He is a fluffy Cross--3/4 Golden and 1/4 Lab. Graduated as a working guide in August 2024.

Flanagan arrived on the December 2022 Puppy Truck and was raised by first time raisers Sarah, Ian, Micah, and Noah. He was voted in as Mayor of his raisers' school and proudly served his term. Returned to campus Feb 2024 and is now a Breeder for Guide Dogs for the Blind!

Fluffy little Golden/Lab Cross Figgy was delivered to her raisers at the Oregon Guide Dogs for the Blind Fun Day, July 2022. Raisers Katherine & Rick had a full house, as Figgy overlapped with puppy-in-training Whitney. She became a K9 Buddy in January 2024!

Prelude to a Kiss arrived on the May 2022 Puppy Truck to be raised by group leader Robin and her partner Howard as their 19th pup for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Returned to campus and selected as a Breeder Dog in October 2023! She had her first litter of one yellow female puppy in April 2024. She was sadly retired for health reasons in August 2024.

Ocean, a petite female black Lab, arrived on the March 2022 Puppy Truck to be raised by Marcia & Cate. Ocean was transferred within our club to Dana & Dave, who finished raising her. Returned to campus for formal harness training March 2023. Graduated in Sept 2023 and working in Oregon.

Wailea danced into the lives of raisers Mary Ann & Dave on Halloween 2021. Returned for formal harness training December 2022. Graduated in April 2023 and is a working guide dog in Minnesota.

This little turtle arrived on the first Puppy Truck since pre-pandemic to be raised by Rinn-Cora, Gunnison, Barbara, & Kevin. He was started by Mary Lou. Returned for formal harness training in October 2022. Graduated in February 2023 and working in Canby Oregon.

Union arrived during the Covid-19 pandemic and at the peak of the Black Lives Matter movement in Seattle. He was raised by Becci & Nick as their second pup for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Graduated as a working guide dog in April 2022 and living in Texas.

Irwin and brother Ibis were flown up from San Rafael California during the Corona virus shut-down. He was raised by Julie, who used to raised pups for Guide Dogs in Utah. Graduated in January 2022 and working in Spokane, WA.

Ibis and his brother Irwin arrived via Alaska Air Cargo during the COVID-19 pandemic. He is named for a long-legged bird that symbolizes great wisdom and good fortune. He was started by first time GDB raiser, Marie-Celeste, and transferred to Barbara, Kevin, Gunnison, & Rinn-Cora. Graduated in March 2022 and working in Atlanta, GA.

Handsome Acre arrived via Alaska Air during the Corona virus pandemic & was raised by Teri & John as the first pup that they have raised for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Graduated in June 2022 and working in New Elm, MN.

Osaka-Girl was started by experienced raiser Samantha, who was unexpectedly home from studying at the University of Washington due to the Corona virus shutdown. Transferred in August 2020 to Bellevue when her raisers moved. Selected as a Breeder Dog for GDB in November 2021!

Josiah arrived via Alaska Air Cargo just before the Covid-19 Pandemic shutdown. He will be raised by first time raiser Dana Donna. Graduated in December 2021.

Mallorca, a fluffy Golden/Lab double Cross, was raised by experienced raisers Katherine & Rick. She was selected as a Breeder Dog for GDB!

Black Lab Latifah arrived on the January 2020 Puppy Truck & was raised by Mary Ann and Dave, who have raised 5 puppies for GDB. The Queen graduated in December 2021.

Pure Golden Anakin Pupwalker arrived in May 2019 to be co-raised by Scott, Sharon, Sophia, & Cosette, & by Melissa & Jeremy. Graduated August 2021.

Lindale joined our group at the age of 11 months from Pullman Puppy Raisers, to be raised by Hope, then transferred to Karen & Paul. Placed as a K9 Buddy in Portland, Oregon, and will help a child who is visually impaired.

Alameda, or Ali, transferred to Seattle from the Enumclaw group in January 2020 at the age of 14 months to continue her training with raisers Calley & Nick. Such a sweet, soft girl, that little Ali, that she was placed as a K9 Buddy on Bainbridge Island.

Gibbs arrived with sister Galley via the Microsoft sponsored puppy truck in Oct 2018. He was raised by first-time raisers Dan & Maayan, who live in downtown Seattle. Gibbs went to work at Amazon with his raiser, who then had a human baby in December! Recalled for formal training November 2019, he was fostered by his raisers during the Covid campus closure and then graduated via in-home training in Sept. 2020. Gibbs is working in Albany, Oregon with his partner Suzy.

Frederick was co-raised by the O'Brien family, and by Zac & Kait. He got lots of work experience alternating between Amazon and Microsoft! He was recalled in May 2019, and selected as a Breeder for Guide Dogs for the Blind! Expect some little Freddies to be running around soon.

Data was raised by Mark, Kendall, Andie, & Jed as their second pup for GDB. Returned for formal training August 2019. Data graduated in February 2020 and is working in a northern California resort town. His partner is an ex-cop. Retired and adopted by his raisers.

Aggie arrived in May of 2018 as a starter pup for Mary Lou. She is the second brindle Lab for our group! She was transferred to the Boise, Idaho puppy raising group in June 2018. Aggie graduated in September 2019 and is now a working guide in Penticton, BC.

Gino transferred to our group from Pullman, WA at 10 months of age to be raised by experienced raisers Samantha and Karen. He returned to GDB campus in May 2019 for formal harness training. Graduated January 2020!

Koa is a Brindle Black Lab and his particular coloring is a first for our group. He arrived via the maiden voyage of the new Puppy Truck on 3/30/18 and was raised by group leaders Heidi & Dallas as their 14th pup for GDB. Koa returned for formal harness training at the Oregon campus in March 2019 and graduated in July. He is now working in Indianapolis, Indiana with his partner Derek. And he is still a big licker!

Jive arrived March 2018 to be raised by Peter as his senior year project. Peter had Jive until the middle of summer, when he was transferred to the Wenatchee puppy club. Jive's dad, Bowie, was raised in Guide Puppies of Seattle until he was 7 months old, at which point he was transferred to the same Wenatchee raiser who finished raising Jive! Jive graduated in October 2019 and will be working in Medford, Oregon.

Golden Gleam arrived as a transfer pup from Snohomish Puppy Raisers at 14 months of age, to be raised for a couple of months by Brenda & Frank. She went to work in Seattle with these veteran puppy raisers. Gleam spent her last month with Annalise on Mercer Island, in what you might call "finishing school". Graduated October 2019 and working in San Francisco.

Nance transferred to our group with her raisers, Katherine & Rick, from Issaquah in January 2018. She has studied hard and is ready to tackle Guide Dog college, February 2019. Graduated in August 2019.

Royalty, nicknamed the less ostentatious Roya, arrived at our first Tacoma Subaru puppy truck hosting! She is the 14th puppy that Robin and Howard have raised for Guide Dogs for the Blind. She went to the GDB campus via the Microsoft sponsored Puppy Truck in October 2018 and breezed through all of the health and temperament tests to become a Breeder dog! She lives with a Breeder Keeper family near the San Rafael campus.

Mrs. Beasley joined our group when her raisers moved over from the Issaquah puppy raising group. She was selected as a breeder for Guide Dogs for the Blind in April of 2018. Veteran raisers, the Parkin family, have raised over 27 dogs for Guide Dogs for the Blind!

The second Ross for our group, this cutie was raised by Zac as his second pup for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Ross joined his raiser as an Amazon employee. Ross returned for formal training in March 2018. Graduated June 2018 and working in Huntington Beach, CA

IMPreza went to work with his raisers, Kim & Gary, at Microsoft and that is an IMPortant, IMPressive job for a little guy! He was the barksperson for Tacoma Subaru who has been hosting our Puppy Truck deliveries. Imp returned for formal training in January 2018. Graduated April 2018 and placed with a partner in Ontario, Canada!

Little Ramla joined our group in Sept. 2016 to be raised by Erika and Mark. The name Ramla means 'prophetess' or 'she knows', and is a city in central Israel. Ramla's big sister, career change dog Hoya, was raised in our group 9 years ago! Ramla returned to campus in January 2018 and was picked up by Service Dogs Inc. in Texas and trained as a service dog for another disability. Ramla graduated in July 2018.

Mr. Tumnus is a character in CS Lewis' The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and, as a faun, Mr. Tumnus is a peaceful woodland dweller and is the first person Lucy meets in Narnia. Tumnus the puppywas raised by first time raisers Andie, Mark, Kendall, and Jed. This family also has a career change pet from Guide Dogs of the Desert. Tumnus is scheduled to graduate in May 2018.

Gleason was raised by Derval, Tom, and kids as their second pups for Guide Dogs for the Blind. An Irish name for an Irish family! He entered formal training at the GDB campus in October 2017. Graduated from in-home training in February 2018 and living with his partner in Vancouver, WA.

Bowie is destined to be a rock star of a guide dog puppy. He was raised by Geoff, on the shores of Lake Union and was transferred to the Wenatchee group at 9 months old. Returned for formal training May 2017 and was selected to be a Breeder for Guide Dogs for the Blind in June 2017!

Garfield, a Golden/Lab Cross, joined our group as a transfer dog at 15 months of age from the Kitsap Navigators group. He spent his last few months of puppy training with Brenda and Frank to get more varied outings and downtown Seattle experience. Returned to campus for formal harness training April 2017 and graduated as a working Guide Dog in August 2017! He and his partner now live in Great Falls, Montana.

Figaro, Figaro, Figaro (sung in an Italian operatic voice), was raised by first time raiser Zac. This little note was delivered via the Christmas Puppy Truck at Cabelas at the tender age of 7 1/2 weeks old. Returned for breeder eval in Dec. 2016, neutered due to minor heart murmur and entered formal training in Jan. 2017. Graduated April 2017 and works in Minnesota with his partner Nicole.

Enterprising Captain Kirk arrived on the September 2015 puppy truck and was raised by Annalise and Brian as their 4th pup for Guide Dogs. Graduated via In Home Training June 2017 and is now working in South Porcupine, Ontario.

Samoa joined our group as a transfer from West Seattle See Dogs. He was raised by Samantha and Karen of West Seattle and returned for formal training on Fun Day at the Oregon Campus. Graduated in November, 2016 and working in Colorado.

This cutie pie arrived during a Seattle heat wave, June 2015, to be raised by Karen & Ron as their second pup for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Transferred at 4 months to Marilyn & Tom. Returned to the GDB campus for formal training in Sept. 2016. Graduated January 2017 and living in Beaverton Oregon with his partner.

Elijah was welcomed into our group at the age of 11 month as a transfer from the Spokane puppy raising group. This handsome Golden/Lab Cross was raised by Brenda and Frank who are long-time GPS members! Returned for formal training in July 2016. Graduated via In Home Training and lives in Colorado.

FlareBear, who is 7/8 Golden Retriever and 1/8 Labrador, was raised by Robin, Howard, Estella Lemon Bella and co-raisers Lisa, Doug and Isha. After rigorous physical and temperament testing, she was selected to be a Breeder for GDB in February 2016. Flare was retired as a breeder prior to going into season due to issues with some of her littermates. She graduated as a Guide Dog in December, 2016 and lives in Renton, WA.

Fun and a bit feisty, Ethel learned the ropes aboard a sailboat anchored in Lake Union with Capt Geoff at the helm. She arrived via Puppy Truck from San Rafael in March, 2011. Graduated July 2012 and is partnered with an 18 year old woman who is headed off to college.

Renee picked up little Kala at the Oregon Campus Fun Day on August 7th, 2010. Kala was the third puppy that Renee raised for Guide Dogs for the Blind.Kala was trained as a wheel chair guide dog. Graduated from in-home training April 2012 and is living and working in Fresno, California.

Alanis was raised by Cliff, Laura, Alexandra, and Zach and is the second puppy they have raised with our group. Was selected as a breeder May 2006. Had several litters of puppies as a breeder in San Rafael, CA. Is now retired and living across the street from her raisers in Seattle.

Claude is the third puppy raised by Betsy and Peter and is a delightful dog. Graduated October 21, 2006 and working as a Guide Dog in Oklahoma.

A pure Golden Retriever puppy, and a sweet, silly surfer dude. Packer was raised by group leaders Heidi and Dallas. Returned to the Oregon campus for advanced training 7/06.Graduated on Dec. 16th, 2006 and worked as a guide in Salt Lake City, UT. Retired at age 7 and adopted by his partner's boss.

Nathan was transferred at 13 months old to experienced raisers, Ruth and Ron, when his original family moved to Australia.Graduated October 21, 2006. Now a working Guide in Ocean Park, Washington.

IN LOVING MEMORY. Raised by Heidi and Dallas and graduated in 2005. Felix was a spunky, full of life, shiny black Lab that threw his heart and soul into being Marc's Guide Dog partner and best friend. He worked in Brantford Ontario until the age of almost 9. Felix was the definition of a trustworthy and hardworking companion who still had spunk and loved a good time.
