Volunteer puppy raisers are responsible for teaching puppies good house manners, basic obedience, and socializing.

Puppy sitters are expected to learn the same training methods as raisers so that our pups have consistency when they need a sitter. 
No prior experience is necessary. We will teach you all that you need to know!

To become a puppy raiser or sitter, here are some of the things you’ll need to do:

• Attend Seattle Puppy Raiser training meetings and outings.

• Check out our training videos and other educational material.

• Use specific training and management techniques.

• Be ready to commit to one of the most enriching experiences of your life!
